Considered one of the fastest growing winter sports in the world, snowshoeing can be enjoyed by people of all ages and fitness levels. From an easy stroll to a backcountry hike, this sport offers a great way to stay fit and enjoy the great outdoors. Breathe the fresh crisp air as you make your own path through deep untouched snow.

Guided Off-Property Showshoe Hikes

Enjoy one of the best short hikes in the White Mountains or the tallest waterfall in New Hampshire! Experienced guides will lead you on a 3-4 hour journey up spectacular Mt. Willard or in to graceful Arethusa Falls.

This 3-4 hour journey will take you into your lunch period. At the time of your reservation you will be asked to order a back pack lunch that you will pick up at the Activities Desk when you meet your guide in the morning.

Offered Saturday mornings at 10am from December 19, 2009-March 13, 2010, as the weather allows. Meet at the Bretton Woods Nordic Center.

High Country Snowshoe Trails

Enjoy self-guided, lift-serviced, mountain-top snowshoe adventures! Rentals available in the Alpine Rental Center located in the Bretton Woods Base Lodge.

Offered daily from 9am - 3pm from December 19, 2009-March 13, 2010, as weather allows.
