Slow down and take in all the beauty and majesty of the White Mountain National Forest. Considered one of the fastest growing winter sports in the world, snowshoeing can be enjoyed by people of all ages and fitness levels. From an easy stroll to a backcountry hike, this sport offers a great way to stay fit and enjoy the great outdoors. Breathe the fresh crisp air as you make your own path through deep untouched snow.

Guided Off-Property Showshoe Hikes
Enjoy one of the best short hikes in the White Mountains or the tallest waterfall in New Hampshire! Experienced guides will lead you on a 3-4 hour journey up spectacular Mt. Willard or in to graceful Arethusa Falls.
This 3-4 hour journey will take you into your lunch period. At the time of your reservation you will be asked to order a back pack lunch that you will pick up at the Activities Desk when you meet your guide in the morning.

Offered Saturday mornings at 10am from December 19, 2009-March 13, 2010, as the weather allows. Meet at the Bretton Woods Nordic Center.

High Country Snowshoe Trails
Enjoy self-guided, lift-serviced, mountain-top snowshoe adventures! Rentals available in the Alpine Rental Center located in the Bretton Woods Base Lodge.
Offered daily from 9am - 3pm from December 19, 2009-March 13, 2010, as weather allows.
