Thank You!
Bretton Woods closed out the 2012/13 winter season on April 15, 2013 with an absolutely picture-perfect spring day! A huge THANK YOU to everyone who visited us this season! We hope to see you back in Bretton Woods this summer!
2013/14 Bretton Woods season passes on sale now!
Visit Bretton Woods, NH's largest ski area with 464 acres of skiing and snowboarding on 102 trails and glades, four terrain parks and including 30 acres of all-new backcountry glades! Ten lifts, including four high-speed quads, make your ride up the mountain almost as fun as the ride down. Regularly voted "Top 5 in the East for Weather" by SKI Magazine, if there's snow falling, chances are we've got it - or we can make it with snowmaking on 92% of our trails. And, because you'll want to stay on our slopes until after dark, we also offer night skiing and riding.
Lift Service on Mount Stickney!
The much-anticipated addition of lift service to the Mount Stickney area was made available to skiers and riders for the 2012/13 season! The resort welcomes adventurers and families with a step back to a traditional New England skiing experience. The Mount Stickney expansion, whose last addition included 30 acres of gladed tree skiing, continues with the addition of the Telegraph T-Bar surface lift and warming cabin.
The 2,000-foot Doppelmayr t-bar serves the Mount Stickney Glades. The gladed terrain had been expanded and enhanced to open up the steep drop offs and cliff area for those thrillseeking skiers at Bretton Woods. For the less adventurous, many of the glades are manicured in the Bretton Woods fashion, so they will be skiable even in lean snow years and cater to all abilities and age groups. With the addition of the Telegraph T-Bar, skiers and riders can now spend hours doing laps in the trees without having to return to the main base area.
At the top of the t-bar, near the summit of Mount Stickney, a 600-square-foot log cabin has been constructed. The cabin features an exterior stone fireplace as well as a porch for catching rays on warmer days. Inside, a wood stove warms skiers in between runs.
Kids Snowmobile Park!
Look between the bases of the Bethlehem and Zephyr Hi-Speed Quads this season and you will see something very new... a snowmobile park just for kids! Learn more about it on the Kids Snomobile Park page!
