Drawing on his 20 years of leading adventures in the White Mountains, our director of guided programs, Steve Nichipor, has designed programs suitable for everyone, from beginner to expert. Let him and his expert staff take you on a winter adventure, right here at Bretton Woods.
MEET STEVE NICHIPOR, GUIDED TOUR AND BACKCOUNTRY GUIDE
Steve Nichipor, Climbing Programs Director has been guiding backcountry skiing in the White Mountains for 20 years. He has backcountry skied and studied avalanche safety all over North America. He has taught avalanche safety classes on Mt. Washington for over 10 years and has also taught in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. He is Level 3 Certified by the American Institute for Avalanche Research and Education (AIARE) and Level 1 Professional Certified by the Canadian Avalanche Association.
Guided Mountain Ski Tour
Get the most out of your day at Bretton Woods. We'll show you the best trails and glades for your ability and interests and you'll get more skiing with preferred lift line access. This tour is available for Alpine and Nordic skiers looking to get the most out of their day. Guided Ski Tours of Bretton Woods are offered daily at 10 am and 1 pm by reservation.
Cost: $35 per person
Reservations 24-hours in advance are recommended for this program. Reservations can be made by calling (603) 278-3335. Must have a valid lift ticket or season pass. Rental equipment is available through the Bretton Woods Rental Shop. Maximum group size is 6 people.
