Bretton Woods Fell Race

Popular in the UK, Fell Running is a combination of mountain racing and orienteering that takes racers through off-road terrain with challenging elevation changes. Essentially, there are a number of "checkpoints" spread out over the mountain that competitors have to navigate in specific order. There are no course markings and no specific path to which the checkpoints have to be reached so this race is all about planning the best route and speed. This race will start and finish at the bottom of the mountain, what happens in between is mostly determined by you as long as your are hitting certain coordinates along the way. Read more.

5th Annual Salute to Freedom Independence Day Celebration

This special week will salute our soldiers from every American war from the American Revolution to present. Visit with former Presidents Washington, Lincoln and Roosevelt; enjoy demonstrations, musical performances, dance lessons, plus storytelling, BBQ, beverage tasting and family activities including “The Battle of Wettysberg” water balloon war, and don’t forget the fireworks! We have stepped up once again to bring you the all new Bretton Woodstock Mountain Festival! This two-day, action packed event will include three different types of mountain bike competitions, lots of live music, great food and brews, family friendly games, and tons of demos and raffle prizes from various local and national vendors. Prizes will be awarded to the top three finishers of each event and there will also be prizes for the top three who compete in all 3 events. Read more.

Wicked Woods Weekend

Come spend your Halloween in the Wicked Woods of the Great North. A long- continued tradition at Omni Mount Washington Resort, this weekend of witches’ cauldrons, black cats, superstition, mischievous acts and spooky tales is fun for the entire family. Don’t forget to bring your own costume on Saturday for the Family Fall Festival and Kids’ Halloween Party that will take place over at Bretton Woods Ski Area and feature the second annual "Trunk- or-Treat"! The Giving Tree

Participate in this community outreach program that benefits designated local charities. The benefiting organizations vary from year to year as Omni Mount Washington Resort seeks to be a supportive member of the local community by helping those that might not otherwise be able to celebrate the holidays. This year marks the ninth year of The Giving Tree, and it would not happen if it was not for the efforts of guests, local homeowners and employees of the Omni Mount Washington Resort. Through this abundant generosity and support this effort has gained; The Giving Tree keeps giving each year. Together, we do make a difference and help others have a wonderful holiday season.
