Sweethearts' Chocolate Tour

Escape to the majestic Bretton Woods Nordic Center trail system with your sweetheart. This self-guided decadent tour can be enjoyed by using cross-country skis or snowshoes with each tour stop offering an enjoyment of chocolate. Begin at the Bretton Woods Nordic Center or at the Appalachian Mountain Club’s Highland Center. Pick up your Sweethearts’ Card and then head out for the romantic day that waits; you determine where you want to trek. Read more.

Sweethearts' Moonlight Nordic Ski & Snowshoe Tour

Enjoy a romantic evening by taking your sweetheart out on a ski or snowshoe excursion on the Bretton Woods Nordic Center trails. Our perimeter trail will be open for candlelit skiing or snowshoeing between 7 pm and 8 pm. Afterwards, cozy up by the fire while warming yourself with a cup of hot chocolate or a sweetheart toddy. Space is limited, reservations are required. Please contact the Nordic Center at 603-278-3322 to reserve. Read more.

Washington Cup, the Bretton Woods Nordic Center at Omni Mount Washington Resort is inviting all long-distance classic skiers to join them on a new journey to benefit the New England Ski Museum. The 100-km trail network crosses open fields, meanders through woods of spruce and fir, passes beaver ponds and mountain streams, and traverses open hardwood stands. Read more.
