NASTAR RACING AT BRETTON WOODS
Developed by SKI magazine in 1968, NASTAR (NAtional STAndard Race) is the largest recreational ski and snowboard race program in the world. Since the program's inception, more than 6 million skiers and snowboarders have raced NASTAR. Our mission is simple - provide a fun, competitive and easily accessible racing program that, through the development of a handicap system, allows racers of all ages and abilities a means to compare their race results to other competitors across the country. For full information, please check out www.nastar.com
The Bretton Woods NASTAR race arena is located on the Bretton's Wood Trail, easily visible from the Base Lodge(under the B-Lift double chair). The NASTAR program is available Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, from 10 am - 12 pm and 12:45 - 3 pm. The course may not be available on select dates when a scheduled race supersedes NASTAR operations.
The cost for NASTAR is $7 for two runs or $15 for a full day of racing fun.
