Snow Reporter's Comments
We have 53 trails open encompassing 96 km of terrain, however, with the storm last night our groomers are out there now assessing the conditions. Most of the trails are covered with 1 inch of new snow from last night's storm and our snow conditions are machine groomed/variable. The area around the Nordic Center and the Golf Course is skiable but there are some icy spots, so use caution. Once you reach the trails, they are in decent shape. For updates on the trail conditions contact the Nordic Center at (603) 278-3322. Fabyan’s Field is open to Nordic skiing, snowshoeing and Fat Bike Riding. We have both adult and kid Fat Bikes. Trails will be open from 8:30am-4pm. Rates are: $21-adults, $19-teens, $14-juniors and seniors. Please Note: the Tubing Hill will be open from 10am to 1pm & 3pm-5pm Saturday.
Nordic Weather Report
This morning we will have lots of clouds and possible snow showers with a temp of 27 degrees. Like yesterday the sun may make an appearance later today and the temps will rise into the low 30. WNW winds averaging 10-15 mph have gusts up to 31 mph, so dress in layers to keep warm.
Looking ahead, mark your calendar for the 11th and 12th of March for the Nordic Marathon and 43rd Annual Mt. Washington Cup Skate Race! Contact the Nordic Center at (603) 278-3322 for details.
Stop in at the Nordic Grille to enjoy a snack and a beverage and relax in the friendly environment. The Grille is open from 10 am to 4pm.
