Enjoy a side of the northern New Hampshire that not everyone gets to see – the trails and forests in winter! Mount Washington Resort is located right in the middle of some of the most popular snowmobiling locations in New Hampshire! Groomed trail networks begin, almost literally, right outside our doors!

Whether you are an experienced rider and just wish to rent a snowmobile for a self-guided ride, or a relative beginner, more comfortable on a guided tour, Mount Washington Resort coordinates with Outback Kayak, located just behind The Mount Washington Hotel.

Snowmobile guided tours are arranged by the Activities Concierge located in the Great Hall of The Mount Washington Hotel. Snowmobile rentals are available daily - reservations are required, and may be made directly with Outback Kayak or coordinated through the Activities Concierge. Cost

Two Hour Excursions:

• Public: $153 midweek; $175 weekends & holidays
• Resort Guests: $138 midweek; $158 weekends & holidays

Pricing is per person, based on one rider per sled - additional Riders: $20 each

Passenger, with guide:

• $50 per hour

Schedule

• Two-hour excursions daily at 9am, noon and 2:30pm

Additional Information:

• Insurance is available for purchase at $20 per snowmobile. This will give you a $1000 deductible toward any damage that may occur during your ride. Anyone that rents without insurance is fully liable for all damage.
• Each sled can hold a maximum of 250 lbs.
• Ages 4 and up are allowed to participate in this activity.
• You must be a minimum of 14 with a OHRV license to drive a sled.
• Ages 16 and up can drive with a valid drivers license.
• Guests need to have their license with them on the tour to drive.
• Guests will want to wear full winter apparel. Helmets will be provided by Outback Kayak.
• Guests must check in with the Activities Concierge 30 minutes prior to the scheduled ride.

Recommended Gear:

• Hat and/or balaclava that will fit under helmet
• Long underwear (top and bottom) - wool or polypropylene best
• Insulated ski pants
• Insulated ski jacket or layered jacket system
• Insulated Winter Boots
• Warm wool or polypropylene socks

Cancellation Policy:

All tours are non-refundable, and all cancellations will be gifted in the form of a gift certificate of the full tour amount. Gift certificates do not expire and may be used at one’s leisure for any tour. Please arrive 30 minutes prior to your tour to fill out paperwork.
