Bretton Woods Seasonal Ski Programs

The Bretton Woods Ski & Snowboard School is pleased to offer a variety of seasonal programs for adults, teens and kids. These programs are designed to improve techniques while providing a fun and comfortable environment.

Women First Ski

Our professional female instructors will help develop skills and strengths in a friendly and comfortable environment. With your personal needs in mind, you can improve your skiing through specialized instruction by women for women.

The minimum ability level to participate in all programs is the "mountain green zone," as described by the Bretton Woods Ski & Snowboard School: the skier is comfortable skiing on all green trails in control, using turn shape to control speed. Bretton Woods Ski & Snowboard School reserves the right to make final determination of participant's skiing ability and participation in the program.

All participants must have a Bretton Woods season pass or day ticket to participate in the program each day.

Program will meet Saturdays, from 9:30 am -3 pm, beginning January 3 and ending March 7, 2015.
Lunch break will be on your own from 12 -1 pm.

The program cost is $399 per person. Registration and payment must be received by December 21, 2014.

Wiser Woods

Wiser Woods is for adults that enjoy the camaraderie of their contemporaries and the guidance of one of our experienced instructors. Open to skiers and riders ages 50+.

Wiser Woods Benefits:

The minimum level of skiing to participate in the program is the ability to ski parallel on all blue trails at Bretton Woods. Bretton Woods Ski & Snowboard School reserves the right to make final determination of participant's skiing ability and participation in the program.

Skier ability will be taken into consideration to provide groups with a positive learning environment.

All participants must have a Bretton Woods season pass or day ticket to participate in the program each day.

Program will meet Tuesdays, from 9:00 am - noon, beginning January 6 and and ending March 17, 2015.  Participants will meet at the stone fireplace on the Slopeside level of the Base Lodge. Program excludes February 17, 2015.

The program cost is $125 per person. Registration and payment must be received by December 21, 2014. 

Freestyle Team: Ages 6-13

This program is for skiers and riders ages 6-13 that are beginning to explore park riding and freestyle. We use Smart Style and the ATML approach to safely teach the basics of park riding and freestyle. Our parks are planned and built using the most current progressive park building techniques.

The minimum level of skiing to participate in this program is the "blue zone" skier, as defined by the Bretton Woods Ski & Snowboard School. Bretton Woods Ski & Snowboard School reserves the right to make final determination of participant's skiing ability and participation in the program.

All participants must have a Bretton Woods season pass or day ticket to participate in the program each day.

Program will meet Saturdays, from 9:30 am-3 pm, beginning December 27 ending March 8, 2015.  Includes supervised break from noon-1 pm including lunch and a mid-season social for kids and their parents.

The program cost is $690 per person. Registration and payment must be received by December 21, 2014. 

Bretton Woods Development Team: Ages 4-13

The Development Team  is for skiers, ages 4- 13, who want to develop their skills an all mountain skier or recreational racer. 

The minimum ability level to participate in all programs is the "green zone all-mountain skier," as described by the Bretton Woods ski school: the skier is comfortable skiing on all green trails in control, using turn shape to control speed. Bretton Woods Ski & Snowboard School reserves the right to make final determination of participant's skiing ability and participation in the program.

All participants must have a Bretton Woods season pass or day ticket to participate in the program each day.

Program will meet Saturdays, from 9:30 am-3 pm, beginning December 27 and ending March 14, 2015. Includes supervised break from 12 -1 pm including lunch and a mid-season social for kids and their parents.

The program cost is $690 per child. Registration and payment must be received by December 21, 2014.

Rosebrook Ski Team (formerly the B Team): Ages 9-17 

The Rosebrook Ski Team is designed to develop good skiing fundamentals and ski racing for ages 9 to 17. Some of the key characteristics of the program are directed free skiing, skiing drills, trainer courses and gate training, as well as video analysis and day tips to races at other ski areas. The minimum skiing ability to participate in this program is the "mountain blue zone."

All participants must have a Bretton Woods season pass or day ticket to participate in the program each day.

Program will meet Saturdays, from 9 am - 3 pm, and Sundays from 8:30 am - 12 pm, beginning November 29th ending March 15, 2015.

The program cost is $1,300 per child, or $1,100 for Bretton Woods Club Members. Registration and payment must be received by November 29, 2014.

Cancellation Policy

Reservations are required for our popular programs and are charged in full when booked. A full refund, less a $35 processing fee, will be issued for cancellations received 48 hours prior to date of arrival. Cancellations or changes made less than 48 hours prior to arrival will result in forfeiture of full cost of reserved activity, including those due to inclement weather or snow conditions.
