Try your hand at angling the Ammonoosuc River, as it runs right through the resort, or any of a number of local rivers and streams, including some of NH's most pristine fly-fishing destinations.

New Hampshire fishing licenses may be purchased online before your visit, or at the Activities Concierge in the Great Hall of the Omni Mount Washington Hotel.

Guided instruction and guided trips available upon request.

Fly Casting Clinics

The Adventure Fly Casting Clinic is an introduction to fly casting, beginning with a brief overview of the equipment needed to get you started. We then progress into teaching some of the basic fly casting techniques used by even the most avid angler. The group will then move to a stocked pond to catch the big one once everyone is feeling confident with his/her casting ability.

Casting clinics take place near the stocked pond beside the main driveway to the Omni Mount Washington Hotel. Guests will meet at the Activities Concierge desk, located in the Great Hall of the Omni Mount Washington Hotel, 20 minutes prior to the lesson to pick up their equipment and meet their instructor. Fly casting clinics are restricted to ages 13 and up.

Reservations are recommended for this program and can be made by contacting the Activities Concierge at 603-278-8989.

• Daily, 8-10am

• Public: $75
• Resort Guest: $60

Cancellation Policy: Activities reserved by an individual are subject to a two-hour cancellation policy. Any cancellation after that time is subject to full charge. Cancellation fees, including individual 'no shows' will be posted to the guest's room.

All schedules and activities are subject to change - please check the daily Bugle at the Activities Concierge desk. All outdoor programs are weather dependant and take place at the discretion of the Adventure Center staff. The Adventure Center staff reserves the right to turn anyone away for health and/or equipment concerns.

Rental Equipment

Fishing can take place at the stocked pond beside the main driveway to the Omni Mount Washington Hotel. Head down to the Stone Pillar Lodge, between our Golf Clubhouse and the tennis courts, to grab your gear and land a monster fish!
