Guided Nature Walks with the AMC
Let a naturalist from the Appalachian Mountain Club introduce you to our area's magnificent flora and fauna as you follow our extensive trail system along the Ammonoosuc River.
You will meet your Appalachian Mountain Club guide at the Activities Concierge Desk located in the Great Hall of The Mount Washington Hotel fifteen minutes prior to the departure of these one-hour tours.
Cost:
- complimentary to Resort guests.
Schedule:
- Saturday/Sunday, June 11 - 26, 2011
- daily, July 1 thru October 10, 2011
- Tours depart at 8am & 10am daily.
- All tours are offered as conditions permit.

All outdoor programs are weather dependant and take place at the discretion of the Adventure Center staff. The Adventure Center staff reserves the right to turn anyone away for health and/or equipment concerns.
Guided Adventure Hikes
Join our friendly and knowledgeable Adventure Guides for a 2-hour guided hike in the White Mountain National Forest. Visit New Hampshire's tallest waterfall or hike up the Sugarloafs for views of the Pemigewassit Wilderness. All options are moderate in difficulty and require a decent level of physical fitness, sturdy hiking footwear, water and backpack with extra layers
You will meet your guide at the Activities Concierge desk, located in the Great Hall of The Mount Washington Hotel, 20 minutes prior to your scheduled activity. Transportation will be provided to and from trailhead by resort staff.
Cost:
- Public, $45
- Resort Guest, $35
Reservations 24-hours in advance are required for this program and may be made at 603-278-8989.

- Tours depart at 9am daily.
- All hikes are offered as conditions permit.
Cancellation Policy: Activities reserved by an individual are subject to a two-hour cancellation policy. Any cancellation after that time is subject to full charge. Cancellation fees, including individual 'no shows' will be posted to the guest's room.
