Guided Nordic Adventures in Bretton Woods

Drawing on his 20 years of leading adventures in the White Mountains, our Director of Guided Programs, Steve Nichipor, has designed programs suitable for everyone, from beginner to expert. Let him and his expert staff take you on a winter adventure you won't soon forget, right here in New Hampshire's White Mountains.
MEET STEVE NICHIPOR, DIRECTOR OF GUIDED PROGRAMS AND YOUR BACKCOUNTRY GUIDE
Steve Nichipor, Climbing and Guided Programs Director has been guiding backcountry skiing in the White Mountains for 20 years. He has backcountry skied and studied avalanche safety all over North America. He has taught avalanche safety classes on Mt. Washington for over 10 years and has also taught in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. He is Level 3 Certified by the American Institute for Avalanche Research and Education (AIARE) and Level 1 Professional Certified by the Canadian Avalanche Association. As an experience guide and backcountry adventurer, Steve is familiar with local trails and wonderful adventures near Bretton Woods.
Guided Nordic Ski Tour
Get the most out of your day at Bretton Woods. We'll show you the best trails and views for you ability and interests. This tour is available for skiers looking to get the most out of their day. Guided Ski Tours of Bretton Woods are offered daily from 9:00am - 11:00am by reservation.
Cost: $100 up to 3 people; $35 per each additional person
Guided Nordic Downhill Tour
Take full advantage of one of New Hampshire's most unique nordic ski trails, Mountain Road. We will ride the Bethlehem Quad Chairlift to get ourselves to the top and enjoy the mostly-downhill nordic trail down. Along the way, we may explore some of the Stickney High Country trails and ride the Telegraph T-bar. Participants should be in good physical condition and health. Participants should be at least solid intermediate nordic skiers. Guided Ski Tours of Bretton Woods are offered daily from 9:00am - 11:00am by reservation.
Cost: $155 up to 3 people; $55 per each additional person
(Includes one-way lift ticket for chairlift and Nordic trail pass)
Explore a nearby mountain and experience the wonders of the winter forest. This is a great way to get some exercise, get off the beaten path, and discover the wonders of winter. We'll pick a nearby hike based on conditions and group ability. You'll learn about winter backcountry safety and equipment and enjoy stunning mountain scenery. These tours last approximately two hours. Participants should be in good physical condition and health. Guided Snowshoe Tours of Bretton Woods are offered daily from 9:00am - 11:00am by reservation.
$155 up to 3 people; $55 per each additional person
(Snowshoe rentals are available; additional fees apply. Single-ride lift ticket and Nordic trail pass are included)
