Annual Salute to Freedom at Bretton Woods

This special five day celebration will salute all American soldiers from the American Revolution to the present day. Enjoy demonstrations, musical performances and classic family activities! The excitement begins with activities like “The Battle of Wettysburg” water balloon challenge, our Firecracker 5k Run, and our annual pie eating contest! This year we will offer not one, but two of the Omni Mount Washington’s famous fireworks displays. The first one will be held on Saturday at the Omni Mount Washington Resort, and the second display will be on Tuesday evening at the Bretton Woods Adventure Center. Bonus features include a “Call-to-Arms”, a rubber duck race in the Ammonoosuc River and of course the after party in The Cave.
